Today we discovered:

Ben really likes peach/mango/goat milk smoothies!

A child can consume a huge bowl of butternut squash in one minute. Who knew it would be his favorite new veggie?!

Barley is AMAZING with a little goat milk and a drizzle of honey. Seriously - AMAZING! I ate a whole bowl for dinner. Ben didn't share my excitement, however.

Also, I have awesome friends! My friend Anne came over last night with a bottle of yummy wine and an awesome chick flick to give me some adult interaction. She rocks!
Tim should be home in 2.5 hours and I'm counting down every last minute!!!!
Okay, you're erasing the icks from goat's milk! Maybe we'll try it!
ReplyDelete(Maybe.)
goat milk cheese is pretty tasty, if you ask me. Are you giving him yogurt too or totally cow milk free? At least you have access to a whole foods, which is super helpful when trying to avoid the evil cow milk!!!
ReplyDeleteGoat's milk is yummy, Jenna! :)
ReplyDeleteAngelique, we're going totally cow milk free. And I'm only giving him goat milk in tiny quantities on his barley, in his smoothies, etc. We're just drinking water for now.
Layla & I love squash...that one looks super yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteOur grown-up playdate was so fun, Chelsea! It did me just as much good as you. :)
ReplyDeleteI love goat cheese, too! I have some good recipes I can send you. Adult foods, but no reason why you couldn't share with Ben (once the other ingredients are back in his diet.)
Ooh, yes, I forgot how much I love goat cheese! My favorite pizza of all time is a goat cheese/spinach/tomato pizza. Yummy. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get some recipes, thanks! And we'll have to do more grown-up playdates in the future!
Chelsea, how's Ben doing with his rash???
ReplyDeleteCiara
Terrible....UGH! How is Collin? I hope you guys are having more luck than us! Ben's doc is TOTALLY convinced it's not an allergy and I'm totally convinced it is.
