Foul moods.

Ben has learned the art of the temper tantrum. And apparently someone also taught him that practice makes perfect. I must say, he's pretty perfect at it after all the recent practice.

(And YES, his mullet is finally gone!)

(Yeah, a food-in-the-mouth shot. Sorry about that)

I can't say I blame him. If my body was functioning like his, I'd probably be pissed all the time, too.

Despite the rain clouds, there's been some sunshine in our lives lately, too! We had an awesome playgroup over the weekend where the kiddos played themselves into blissful sleepiness.

  1. Well foul moods or not your camera takes AMAZING pictures!!! Trey is practicing pitching a fit also, he gets on the floor on his tummy kicks his legs and punds the floor. It is so funny allwe can do is laugh and he starts laughing also :) He actually forgets what he is mad about! Ben is just adorable ;) Good Luck with the fits-Ryne my 5 year old (GAW I am old!!) tries to pitch them sometimes, so I wonder if it ever stops?!?!?

  3. I agree, your camera is awesome! Plus your little guy is super cute! What kind of camera do you use? How do you get the background all blurry? ~ Katie

  4. Thanks guys!

We have a Nikon D5000 and I HIGHLY recommend it! It takes great pictures but is on the lower end of the DSLR cameras as far as price. It's still expensive, yes, but I think quite worth it. :)

I get the blurry background (bokeh) by focusing on something close-up and messing with the manual focus until the background is blurry. I'm NOT a photographer, so I'm sure there are much more accurate ways to do it. It works for me until I have time to dive into some photography tutorials.
