I recently reorganized Ben's playroom, finding a clever use for our coffee table that we didn't know what to do with. It's just too big for our tiny living room. Here's what it looked like all prettied up and organized.
And exactly eleven minutes after waking up, Hurricane Ben whipped his fury on his playroom, leaving this in his wake:
ELEVEN minutes, ya'll. He has mad skills, I guess. Also explains why my house is never clean for longer than 30 minute intervals.
HA! Yeah, I can see it happening. :) I guess one bonus to the big coffee table being in your living room was that it was less space for him to scatter toys in that room!
We have some Lego DUPLO and other toys that are starting to look like a permanent fixture on our coffee table. I need to do something about that before it becomes so much a part of the scenery that I don't even notice it anymore.
Pretty much represents what our house looks like right now. I can one up ya' today though. I took the kids out for a bit this morning and when we reentered the house (through the garage we step directly into our laundry room) it smelled so strong ... still does ... of fish or some other similar distasteful smell!! GAG! It can't go away fast enough.

ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious and quite typical for my house too. It helps me justify *not* cleaning up! :-)
