I need more time!

Oh man, have I been busy.  Traveling, having guests at our home, sewing up a storm, making some jewelry, playing with my kids, hanging out with friends, reading, spending time with God and my hubby...you get the point.

There are never enough hours in the day.  Sadly, my house (and this blog) has taken a back seat.  As I look around right now, all I see is clutter everywhere.  I wish I could get inspired.  I wish I had a major surge of energy pulsing through me right now, but writing this blog post is only happening by my mustering up every last ounce of energy I have.  And all I'm doing is sitting on a chair.  Phew.

I have a project in the works.  It's one I'm really, ridiculously, giddily, stupidly excited about.  But it's a lot of work.  Hopefully I'll be able to talk ALL about it here soon.

But for now, I leave you with a few new projects that have been keeping me busy and a very fun fact.  This blog saved my diaper bag.  Yep.  Some very kind people in Minnesota (if you happen to ever stop by here again, Shauna, then hello!) found my diaper bag in a bush many miles from where it was stolen, disassembled the contents, pieced together the information inside and found my blog to let me know.  Today, my favorite little diaper bag arrived in the mail and ALL of my faith in humanity was completely restored.   I sure feel blessed, and Ben was happy to see his Batman toy again.  :)

  1. Love the outfits, Chelsea! And did you make that necklace?! I love it! I got one similar for Mother's Day (but with Morgan's initials and birthdate). You're such a crafty mama!

  2. I know what you mean about the total lack of energy...I pretty much collapse on the couch every chance I get.

Your sewing and jewelry efforts are so great! It all looks really good.

Can't wait to hear about the project you're so excited about!

  3. I am so thrilled that you got your diaper bag back and that your faith in mankind has been restored (oh, and that Ben got his beloved toy back). I, as are many, am excited to learn more about this little project in the works :)

  4. If I had a girl I would TOTALLY be asking you to make some outfits for me! Sadly, I don't think ruffles and flowers are appropriate for little boys! haha Love the fabrics!
