This is a big part of the reason I shared the news so early. How could I keep THIS under wraps for long?
I wish I could embrace the fact that I show soooo early, but instead it's just embarrassing. This is obviously not BABY belly, but I get a little HCG in my body and my uterus just goes, Okay, we're ready, let's do this!
Sorry for the terrible quality. This was from my sucky camera cell phone late last night while I was staring in disbelief.
I thought the same thing with this one (and the one before, and the first one...). I found that one of my early pregnancy symptoms is the super-bloat! How far along are you anyway?
ReplyDeleteYep, super bloat is right! Happened with all three of my kids, too. And I think being short makes it that much worse. I'm 5 little ole' weeks. :)
ReplyDeleteSo yeah I've posted this twice now and it's been eaten both times...3rd times a charm. Maybe since it's been less than a year since Addie was born your body just remembers what it's like to be pregnant. Or it's twins :)
ReplyDeleteI get the embarrassed thing. I know it's ridiculous to be embarrassed about your body doing what it was made to do, but I am so tired of people commenting on how they think I should look right now. Keep it to yourself, people!
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, I think you look awesome, and that growing baby is one lucky little boy or girl!
Ooh, Mandie, I bet you're onto something...I hope. :) I mean, NOT onto something with the twin thing, but with the less-than-a-year thing! Also,
ReplyDeleteyikes! My poor body!
Thanks Jessica! I totally get what you mean. Why do people need to comment? Don't they know that pregnant women should be off-limits from rude comments?
I have 4 kids and remember that the more I had the earlier I showed. You body just doesn't hold it all in as well after 1 I think
ReplyDeleteWell hello there bump and "Bob" - can't leave out the holla for the friendly ghost!
ReplyDeleteI adore the early preggo belly, and I think you should own it! Stick it out, pull on your elastic waistbands, and eat an extra donut!
ReplyDeletei love what erin said!
ReplyDeleteThanks girls! You are simply awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteI just saw this post. LOL at Bob. We joke about having a ghost, too. His name is Gus. (One of my favorite books as a kid was "Gus the Friendly Ghost.") I sure hope he ain't real, though.
ReplyDeleteYou always look adorable, pregnant or no, so work that HCG belly for all it's worth, I say! :)
Haha! I love it, Anne, you name your ghost, too! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you, you're too kind, friend!
