I am ravenously hungry. It's almost out-of-control. As in I think about food all day, every day. I'm wondering if it's because I'm nursing, too. I know that I'm typically much hungrier while nursing than while pregnant. Whatever it is, I'm getting a little worried I'm going to gain 100 pounds.
Let's take a look at exhibit A, the week's meal plan I just spent two hours on, drooling all the while:

Exhibit B: Last night (or we could technically say this morning) I was up from 3-6 with that fun insomnia junk. I was starving and started thinking about this little fast food hibachi place I used to frequent when I lived in South Carolina. They had this AMAZING white sauce and their shrimp/chicken bowl was just heavenly when combined with the white sauce. So I pulled out my phone and started googling a fast food hibachi place. I mean, I live in Kansas City, it's a big place, surely there's one of those around here. Nope. Nada. I could drop $25 on one plate of hibachi at the fancier place, but no thank you. So then I decided to google hibachi white sauce. Would you believe that there are tons of other people out there with the same predicament as me? Apparently this white sauce isn't some obscure sauce served in one little ole restaurant in Florence, South Carolina. So I found a recipe and I'm feeling pretty good about it after reading lots of reviews on the interwebs. But how pathetic that I spent a solid hour in bed at 4 in the morning drooling over white sauce I haven't had in years.
And then there's Zaxby's. If you're listening, Zaxby's, please open up one in KC! PLEASE! I would be your best customer! What I wouldn't give for their chicken fingers spun in hot honey mustard and finished off with that amazing texas toast. Oh my gosh. Just stop it. I even googled the closest location (3.5 hours away, in case you care) and for a moment, considered making that drive.
Yeah, I'm going to get reeeaaaaalllllly fat this time around, I'm afraid.
Exhibit C: I just wrote a whole blog post about food.
